Fomtec Alpha A -35 is a new generation of premixed firefighting agents. It is a ready-to-use foam solution for extinguishing and inhibiting combustible material fires. Fomtec Alpha A is a specially selected blend of surfactants and anti-freeze agents to combine high fire performance with the low freezing point of -35°C for use on Class A fires. Fomtec Alpha A has been designed to have long shelf life. It does not contain any hazardous substances and does not require any special labelling when transported. Thanks to its unique properties with combined low pour point, high fire performance and good shelf life it can be stored and installed in cold areas.

Fomtec Alpha B -30 (also called Fomtec AB-30) is a ready to use (premixed) film forming foam solution for fires of class A and B. Unlike regular AFFF premixes, Fomtec Alpha B -30 has excellent storage stability of at least 5 years under correct storage conditions. The product has superior fire performance on class A fires compared with regular AFFF premix solutions. Fomtec Alpha B -30 is freeze protected to –30oC and can be used in extinguishers or systems that will be stored / installed in cold areas. -

On polar liquid fires, Fomtec Alpha R forms a polymeric layer which protects the foam against destruction. On nonpolar fuels an aqueous film is formed (AFFF-effect). Fomtec Alpha R has been designed to have a much longer shelf life than normal AFFF premix solutions. It is also an alcohol resistant foam solution that is stable for storage, unlike normal premixes made from ARC foams. It is a freeze protected foam solution, enabling foam systems to operate in areas with temperatures down to -10 °C. -
